VISIT OF MR. LALITH PRASAD, CAMBRIDGE REGIONAL HEAD – SOUTH ASIA, TO THE AI INNOVATION & INCUBATION LAB 


The AI Innovation & Incubation Lab at Delhi Public School, Knowledge Park–V had the privilege of hosting Mr. Lalith Prasad, Regional Head – South Asia, Cambridge, on 31st July 2026. During the visit, he interacted with the school team, reviewed the AI Innovation & Incubation Lab, and appreciated the school's efforts in promoting Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Robotics, and innovation.
Students showcased their AI-powered projects, confidently explaining their ideas, technologies, and real-world applications. Mr. Prasad commended their creativity, technical skills, and confidence, while encouraging them to embrace innovation, collaboration, and the responsible use of technology. The visit was an inspiring experience that reinforced the school's commitment to nurturing future-ready learners.

    PARTICIPATION IN THE ‘NAMASTE THAILAND’ INTER-SCHOOL QUIZ COMPETITION

    PARTICIPATION IN THE ‘NAMASTE THAILAND’ INTER-SCHOOL QUIZ COMPETITION


    A team of four students from Delhi Public School, Knowledge Park-V, Greater Noida (West)—Saanvi Mittal (IX-C), Shivashish Jha (XI-D), Parth Makhija (X-G), and Aviral Saxena (X-G)—accompanied by Ms. Annya, participated in the ‘Namaste Thailand’ Inter-School Quiz Competition held at the Indian Islamic Cultural Centre, New Delhi. Organised by Quizcraft Globals in collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy, the event witnessed participation from over 120 schools. The quiz tested students' knowledge of Thailand’s history, culture, geography, tourism, India–Thailand relations, and current affairs through written and visual rounds. Although the team did not qualify for the finals, the competition proved to be an enriching learning experience, enhancing students' general awareness, critical thinking, teamwork, and appreciation of international relations while motivating them to participate with greater preparation in future competitions.

      The students of Class I-A presented a special assembly on the theme "Sharing is Caring" on 30 July 2026. Through an inspiring speech, a melodious song, and an energetic dance performance, they highlighted the importance of kindness, generosity, and compassion. The assembly conveyed that sharing toys, food, time, and love helps build strong friendships, spreads happiness, and creates a caring environment. The activity enabled students to develop empathy, understand the value of sharing, and enhance their confidence through stage performances and public speaking

        Delhi Public School, Knowledge Park-V proudly congratulates Vedika Singh (Class XII-E) on her outstanding achievement at the CBSE North Zone-I Cricket Championship (U-19 Girls) – 2026.
        The championship brought together talented young cricketers from schools across North Zone-I, providing a platform to showcase skill, teamwork and sportsmanship. Representing the CBSE North Zone-I Girls Cricket Team, Vedika delivered an impressive performance throughout the tournament.
        The team emerged as Gold Medal Winners, and Vedika was awarded the Gold Medal in the U-19 Girls Cricket category. Her achievement reflects dedication, perseverance and sporting excellence, bringing pride to the school and inspiring fellow students to strive for success in sports.

          BADMINTON CBSE CLUSTER COMPETITION [2026-27]

          The CBSE Cluster Badminton Competition (2026–27) was held at Radha Govind Public School, Meerut, from 22nd to 25th July 2026. Students of Delhi Public School, Knowledge Park–V participated in the Under-14 and Under-17 boys' categories with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The Under-14 team reached the 5th round, while the Under-17 team advanced to the 6th round of the knockout tournament. The school was represented by Lakshya Nandal (VIII-C), Taasvik (VIII-E), Anshuman Dixit (VI-A), Krit Kadian (IX-F), and Virat Singh, who performed commendably and brought pride to the school.

Aditri Shukla (XII-C, Under-19) and Vaishnavi Sharma (VII-C, Under-14) represented the school with confidence, discipline, and exemplary sportsmanship. Their participation provided valuable exposure at the CBSE level and reflected the school's commitment to encouraging excellence in sports.

              Delhi Public School, Knowledge Park-V participated in the CBSE North Zone-I Lawn Tennis Championship 2026, held at Jaypee Public School, Greater Noida, from 20–24 July 2026. Seven students represented the school in the Under-14 and Under-17 categories, displaying determination, discipline and excellent sportsmanship throughout the tournament. The Under-14 Girls' Team performed commendably by reaching the Quarter Finals. The championship provided valuable exposure, helping students enhance their technical skills, confidence and competitive spirit.

                The Social Science Department of Grade V celebrated Heritage Week 2026 on 9, 10, 16, and 17 July 2026 with the theme “Celebrate Our Past, Inspire Our Future.” The week featured a series of engaging activities, including Letter to a Monument, Traditional Art Corner/Build a Monument, Rangoli and Floor Art, and the Heritage Passport Activity. Through these creative and experiential learning experiences, students explored India’s rich cultural heritage, historical monuments, traditional art forms, and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The activities encouraged research, creativity, teamwork, artistic expression, and historical appreciation while fostering a sense of pride and responsibility towards preserving the nation’s cultural legacy. The celebration concluded on a high note, leaving students inspired by the richness of India’s heritage and reinforcing the message, “Our Heritage, Our Pride.”

                  INTER DPS NATIONAL HINDI DEBATE COMPETITION: VICHARVITHI - 2026,

                  ‘विचारवीथी–2026’ अन्तः डी.पी.एस. हिंदी वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता

                  दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल सोसायटी के तत्वावधान में आयोजित ‘विचारवीथी–2026’ अंतः डी.पी.एस. हिंदी वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता का प्रथम चरण 22 मई 2026 को ऑनलाइन तथा अंतिम चरण 10 जुलाई 2026 को दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल, रोहिणी में आयोजित किया गया। दिल्ली पब्लिक स्कूल, नॉलेज पार्क–V के विद्यार्थियों ने अपनी तार्किक क्षमता, प्रभावशाली अभिव्यक्ति एवं आत्मविश्वास का उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करते हुए विद्यालय का गौरवपूर्ण प्रतिनिधित्व किया। कक्षा VIII-H के अनुष्टुभ शुक्ल ने ‘अभिव्यक्ति की उड़ान’ श्रेणी में द्वितीय स्थान प्राप्त करते हुए ‘सर्वश्रेष्ठ वक्ता (Best Speaker)’ का सम्मान अर्जित किया। अन्य प्रतिभागियों ने भी सराहनीय प्रदर्शन कर विद्यालय की शैक्षणिक एवं सह-शैक्षणिक उत्कृष्टता को प्रतिबिंबित किया।

                    The My Hero Programme provided Class I parents with an opportunity to become classroom facilitators, strengthening the home-school partnership through meaningful participation. Parents conducted engaging sessions on Zumba, Storytelling, Art & Craft, and STEAM, creating joyful and interactive learning experiences for students. Through these activities, children enhanced their creativity, communication, physical fitness, critical thinking, and fine motor skills while learning through exploration, movement, and hands-on experiences. The programme made learning enjoyable and reinforced the value of active parental involvement in a child's overall development.
