CBSE SCIENCE EXHIBITION-2025
Delhi Public School, Knowledge Park-V enthusiastically participated in the CBSE Science Exhibition 2025, held on 11th and 12th November 2025 at Cambridge School, Indirapuram. We were represented by the following students-
CATEGORY 1- (VI-VIII)- PRERNA JOSHI and ANUSTUBH SHUKLA
CATEGORY 2- (IX-XII)- DEVANSH SHARMA and DIWA AMBWANI
The event spanned from 9 AM to 5 PM each day, attracting numerous schools across northern India and providing a platform for budding scientists to showcase innovative models and ideas. The exhibition offered students a valuable opportunity for exposure to cutting-edge scientific projects and interaction with peers from diverse educational backgrounds. Schools presented a wide variety of models aligned with the themes specified by the CBSE, revolving around STEM for Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat reflecting originality, sustainability, and practicality in scientific problem-solving. Our students represented the following projects-
Emerging technologies- Rapid Thermal Hanger – (VI-VIII)
Students created a functional drying apparatus that leverages conduction of warm air through interconnected PVC pipes. Tiny holes distributed across the pipe network channel pressurized air directly to clothes hung on the system, optimizing energy use and drying time. The model demonstrated clarity in concept, practical utility, and effective presentation, earning praise from both judges and visitors.
Green Energy- Vertical City – IX-XII
This city model integrated multiple scientific innovations:
• A hydrogen fuel cell to power eco-friendly infrastructure.
• Skyscraper windows infused with green algae, generating oxygen while supplementing air purification.
• Activated charcoal as a primary filtration mechanism, supported by active filtration through living algae systems.
The project showcased advanced understanding of sustainable urban development and environmental science, drawing positive reviews for both creativity and implementation.
Judging and Recognition.
The judge selected a single model from each of the categories. Though we couldn't secure the top spot.
• Both models from DPS Knowledge Park-V were highly appreciated by judges and secured top positions among a competitive set of participants.
• “Rapid Thermal Hanger” placed among the top four in its category.
• “Vertical City” was ranked in the top five for grades IX-XII.
The judges selected a single model from each of the categories. We couldn't secure the top spot, but gained enough experience to excel the upcoming events.
