To add to the festive fervor, students of classes 3 to 6 presented a special assembly on Diwali on 24 Nov 2023. The assembly commenced with Ram bhajan followed by a short skit in which students dressed up as various characters from the Ramayana and depicted Lord Ram's return to Ayodhya after vanquishing Ravan in a battle.

The assembly ended with Ram Barat and a traditional Diwali dance performed on a devotional song dedicated to Lord Ram. The dance performed in colorful costumes , foot tapping music, highlighted the festivity and good cheer of the festival. . Wonderful presentation of the assembly by the students instilled a sense of victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair.

The assembly was a fine composition of dance, drama, and music, aesthetically showcasing Indian traditions and values. Respected Principal ma’am and HM ma’am inspired the ambience with their glorious persona.
The programme was enjoyed by one and all.

November 21, 2023 was a red letter day in the Senior Wing of DPS Knowledge Park V as the school held first Senior Scholar Badge Ceremony for the Academic Session 2022-23. The school toppers of the first batch of Class X were felicitated along with the star performers of classes IX and XI of the Academic Session 2022-23. The day began on a high note as our Principal, Ms. Manju Verma and the students welcomed our Chairperson Ms. Vrinda Sarup who graced the event as the Chief Guest, the Guest of Honour, Ms. Neha Goyal and the parent community. The cultural programme began with the lighting of the lamp that was accompanied with bansuri vadan by M.S Subbulakshmi Fellowship Winner, Anajaney Joshi of Class VII. The school choir with its symphonious performance lent a musical note to the event. The ebullient dancers lit the stage on fire with their dance rendition of the Dashavatar that earned them a thunderous applause from the audience. Hearts of parent community swelled with pride when they saw their wards smartly march up to the centre stage to receive their certificates and scholar badges. The Chairperson, Ms. Vrinda Sarup in her address to the parents reassured them of the faith shown by them in the school. She complimented our Principal ma’am, students and the faculty for putting up a flawless event. The event reached its culmination with a heart warming vote of thanks proposed by the school’s Head Boy and Head Girl.

DPS Dwarka hosted the Inter DPS National Western Vocal Festival with the theme 'Peace and Unity.' DPS schools from different parts of India participated in the preliminary round, out of which only 23 schools qualified in both group and solo categories.
