COOKING WITHOUT FIRE
The school organized a ‘Cooking without Fire’ activity on Thursday, 13th July 2023, for the students of class VIII. The purpose was to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without flame, emphasize the necessity and benefits of healthy eating, and encourage students to stay away from junk food.
This activity not only imparted lessons in teamwork, culinary skills, and innovative ideas for healthy dishes but also provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and explore new areas of interest.
The students prepared a variety of healthy dishes, including cucumber-sprout salad, apple-papaya salad, bhel-puri, chocolate-bread cake, lemonade, and more, using easy and quick recipes. They presented their dishes in an artistic manner and received applause for their efforts.
To share their creations, students moved around in the corridors and neighboring classes, serving their dishes to teachers and fellow friends.
