      VR TOUR FOR CHANDRAYAN MISSION

      VR TOUR FOR CHANDRAYAN MISSION

Delhi Public School, Knowledge Park V, organized an immersive Virtual Reality (VR) tour for classes IV & V. This initiative collaborated with KLIP VR, a leading VR technology provider, to give students a firsthand experience of India's Chandrayaan lunar mission. By incorporating a VR experience of the Chandrayaan mission into the classroom, students were able to explore the moon virtually and gain a better understanding of the complexities of space missions. The students donned the shoes of an Indian Space Scientist and gained insight into the functions of a state-of-the-art Space Laboratory, including the launch site, the assembly lab, the control room, and more. The VR technology created a 360-degree environment where students could visualize the moon’s surface, examine the lunar terrain, drive the Pragyan Rover, and collect various moon rocks. This immersive experience helped students comprehend abstract concepts related to space science with ease. A total of 333 students of classes 4 & 5 participated in the VR tour and consented to it with a nominal charge of Rs 650. The session lasted for 40 minutes, after which each student received a photograph and a certificate of participation. Overall, it was a revolutionary session that could inspire students to explore new frontiers.
