MY HERO PROGRAMME

A new activity for class VIII – ‘MY HERO’ Programme was planned on Tuesday, 18th July 2023. This programme aimed to promote character development, leadership skills, and community engagement among students, fostering a sense of responsibility and empathy. Parents play a crucial role in structuring their child’s future and children in turn emulate them in their deeds and conduct. Thus, in this activity, some parents from different professional backgrounds were invited to talk to their child’s class about their profession. Eminent individuals from various fields, such as life coaches, social activists, and professionals,shared their inspiring stories and experiences with the students.The session provided valuable insights into real-life heroism and motivated students to make a positive impact. All the ‘Heroes’ made their respective sessions very interesting and engaging in which the students participated actively in the discussion. The HRT’s delivered the vote of thanks and the students felicitated the parents with beautiful handmade cards and flowers. The event was concluded with a social tea gathering in the board room with the Headmistress and the Principal.

COOKING WITHOUT FIRE

The school organized a ‘Cooking without Fire’ activity on Thursday, 13th July 2023, for the students of class VIII. The purpose was to create awareness about the nutritional value of food cooked without flame, emphasize the necessity and benefits of healthy eating, and encourage students to stay away from junk food.

This activity not only imparted lessons in teamwork, culinary skills, and innovative ideas for healthy dishes but also provided a platform for students to showcase their talents and explore new areas of interest.

The students prepared a variety of healthy dishes, including cucumber-sprout salad, apple-papaya salad, bhel-puri, chocolate-bread cake, lemonade, and more, using easy and quick recipes. They presented their dishes in an artistic manner and received applause for their efforts.

To share their creations, students moved around in the corridors and neighboring classes, serving their dishes to teachers and fellow friends.

INAUGURATION OF COMPUTER LAB-2 (4TH FLOOR)

As the strength of our school students reached above 3500 students. One more computer lab was really required for the students of middle classes. Keeping the well being of students in her mind, Our Respected Principal, Ms. Manju Verma has inaugurated a new Computer Lab in our school on 4th floor on 10th July 2023, the lab is well equipped with about 40 computers and customised furniture as per the class level of students.
Our computer dept. is really grateful to principal ma’am for her generous efforts and making it possible with in short span of time. This is really going to help the students for their technological developments.
