Educational Visit to Alliance Française de Delhi - On 20 May 2025, 45 students of Class 8 visited the Alliance Française de Delhi. The visit aimed to provide students with a deeper understanding of  French language and culture through interactive experiences. Students began the day with a guided tour of the library, where they explored a wide range of French books, comics, and digital resources. They also got an overview of how the library supports language learners.
Next, students visited the cafeteria to enjoy a taste of authentic French snacks and pastries, allowing them to explore French culinary traditions.
The visit concluded with a screening of the French animated film Yakari. The movie, shown with English subtitles, helped students improve their listening skills while enjoying an entertaining story based on a popular French comic.

    SCHOOL BOOK FAIR

    "That's the thing about books. They let you travel without moving your feet." - Jhumpa Lahiri. 
     
    The school  organised a book fair in the school campus in collaboration with BBC Group and Ministry of culture, Government of India on May 16-17. The fair was a resounding success, visited by the students from Pre Nursery to Grade 5 and their parents. Held over two days, the event provided a platform for young book lovers to explore, discover, and purchase books that catered to their diverse interests.
    The book fair featured a wide range of collection of approx. 12000 books from 40 renowned publishers which includes books like Fiction, Biography, Encyclopaedia, Dictionary, Technology, Sports, Music, Spiritual Science, picture books, early readers, chapter books, and activity books, ensuring that every student found something that suited their reading level and interests. Students enthusiastically browsed through the book stalls, selecting titles that caught their attention. Parents accompanied their children to the book fair, providing guidance and support in selecting books that aligned with their child's reading level and interests.

      CBSE SCIENCE CHALLENGE

      The event was divided into two rounds- I and II. The CBSE mandated the selection of 6 students (Two each from Grade VIII, IX, X) for Round II.
      The Round I was held on the aforementioned date. A computer system was dedicated to each of the students in out state-of-the-art computer labs. CBSE provided a common exam paper for the students. The exam was taken on specifically designed OMR sheets by the school. They were corrected on the same day and the top scorers (Two each from Grade VIII, IX, X) were registered for ROUND II. The splendid performance of Grade VIII students was a surprise for us as the paper pertained to the level of Grade X.

      The ROUND II was held on 8th of May 2025. It was a live computer based test having High order thinking skill MCQ’s pertaining to the level of Grade X. The students had to download, complete and upload the paper in just 60 mins.

      These examinations will definitely help in inculcating scientific fervour among the students, compelling them to explore further.

        SCHOOL SCIENCE EXHIBITION
        The Spectacular School Science Exhibition was held on 3rd May 2025 in the school, showcasing the ingenuity and creativity of students across grades IX-XII. The event featured over 55+ exhibits, interactive demonstrations, and engaging presentations.
        The science exhibition achieved its objectives, with notable outcomes including:
        Enhanced student interest in science and environmental issues.
        Increased awareness about sustainable practices among students and visitors.
        Opportunities for students to collaborate and learn from each other.

          INTER-DPS ENGLISH DEBATE FESTIVAL 2025

          INTER-DPS ENGLISH DEBATE FESTIVAL 2025 – POINT-COUNTERPOINT HOSTED BY DPS INTERNATIONA, SAKET – Online (April 8th and 11th) and on-site (May 2nd) events. Our school successfully registered for the Inter-DPS English Debate Festival 2025 –The registration submitted confirmed the school’s participation in both Shivika Sahu, a student of Class XI.B, represented the school in both segments, arguing for the motion in the on-site round. Our school cleared the first round and reached the top 27 teams amongst the 87 teams that participated. In the second round, Shivika was joined by Unnati Pachauri of Class XI.E, for the on-site event, who argued against the motion on the topic ‘The study of history is counter productive’.
