THE RAM KATHA: SHADOW PUPPETRY SHOW - “A TALE OF LIGHT, SHADOW, AND GOODNESS.”

The learners of the Pre-Nursery and Nursery Wing witnessed a captivating Shadow Puppetry Show, “The Ram Katha,” based on the epic Ramayana, presented by the teachers of Nursery and Pre-Nursery. The presentation aimed to introduce young learners to India’s rich cultural heritage in a visually engaging and meaningful way.
The story of the Ramayana was beautifully narrated and brought to life through shadow puppetry, depicting key episodes such as King Dasharatha’s wish for sons, the birth of Lord Rama, his exile, Sita’s abduction by Ravana, and the ultimate triumph of good over evil. The rhythmic narration, along with scene-wise songs, expressive voices, and striking silhouettes of the puppets, created a magical atmosphere that held the attention of every child.
The presentation also helped children imbibe the life skill of understanding moral values and distinguishing between right and wrong, reinforcing the message that goodness always prevails.
