CAMBRIDGE DAY 2025 – “PRAYAS: LEARNING BEYOND MISTAKES”
 
 
Delhi Public School, Knowledge Park–V, celebrated Cambridge Day 2025 along with its thematic exhibition “Prayas: Learning Beyond Mistakes” on 28 November 2025 with great enthusiasm. The programme began with warm Opening Remarks, followed by the Lamp Lighting Ceremony and Planter Presentation to the esteemed guests Ms Dolly Chanana & Ms. Nita Kumar from DPSS, symbolising enlightenment and intellectual growth. Principal Ms. Manju Verma then delivered an inspiring address, highlighting the school’s commitment to experiential and holistic learning. A harmonious welcome song by the students extended a cordial greeting to all present.
The Annual School Report presented an overview of academic achievements and key initiatives taken throughout the year. The stage play, “The Case of the Dirty Shirt,” presented by the students, added a lively theatrical element to the event. Proficiency Certificates were awarded to meritorious students of the 2024–25 session, followed by an encouraging Address by the Guests.
Exhibition Highlights
The exhibition showcased a rich blend of hands-on learning, creativity, and subject integration across Cambridge Grades 1–5:
English (Grade 3): Students presented Acrostic Poems and an engaging Acronym Expansion Activity, highlighting vocabulary building and creative expression.
English (Grades 4 & 5): A dynamic Readers’ Theatre display featuring two texts and two distinct purposes illustrated fluency, voice modulation, and interpretive reading skills.
Science (Grade 3): Students conducted the Starch Test and demonstrated a Volcano Model, connecting scientific concepts with real-life observations.
Science (Grade 5): A well-structured presentation on the Food Chain showcased students’ understanding of ecosystems and energy flow. The interactive experiments highlighted observation and inquiry skills .
Mathematics (Grade 4 &5 ): A hands-on Integer Game promoted critical thinking and number sense, while the Fraction Bake-Off helped students apply fractions through fun, real-world contexts.
The event culminated with a vibrant ‘Grand Finale’, followed by a formal ‘Vote of Thanks’ and the ‘National Anthem’, marking the conclusion of a well-executed and memorable celebration of learning.
