DPS KP - V is established with the same vision, ambition, distinction and dogged determination that all the Delhi Public Schools, are known for.
In these extra ordinary times, when a pandemic has gripped the entire humanity, the young leaners, school/college going students have certainly been adversely affected. However, the paradigm shift from the traditional schooling to the modern pedagogical practices and curricular designs through an on-line/virtual teaching has certainly radiated our expectations and hopes, in a brighter way. When education as a process is changing, we need to change the way we educate them. With parents’ collaboration, every stage of learning is bound to become a joyful experience, encouraging child’s creativity and potential.
During the career span of more than thirty-nine years, Mrs. Renu Chaturvedi has been associated with Delhi Public Schools since 1983, having worked at Delhi Public School, Noida for 20 years. She did her Masters in English from Jaipur University and began her teaching career as a lecturer at the G.D. Girls College at Alwar. She was the founder Principal of Delhi Public School, Meerut (2002-2005) and has also contributed as the Principal of other Delhi Public Schools at Bhatinda (Punjab), NTPC Township at Dadri (U.P.) and at DPS Dwarka (New Delhi) before she joined DPS Society office as the Additional Secretary in December 2008, where she coordinated and monitored the entire gamut of Inter-DPS Competitions, along with overseeing the administrative responsibilities pertaining to Delhi Public Schools (satellite) across the country and abroad.
Mrs. Chaturvedi has attained a significant experience as a teacher, administrator, author and a teacher-trainer as well. She has written several books on the communicative approach to teaching of English. Having travelled widely she was associated with the ELT British Council Project as the teacher-trainer and attended a summer school at Durham, U.K. in 1995. An extensive range of official visits to places in the USA, UK, Germany, Canada, Thailand, UAE, Denmark, Maldives and other such international travels opened new vistas of educational growth. She has also contributed as the Resource Person appointed by the CBSE for the CCE workshops held across the country.
As the Principal of DPS Greater Noida for the last 10 years and presently as a Director of DPS Greater Noida & DPS Knowledge Park-V, she has been leading by example, and trying to make education a joyful and purposeful experience. As per her conviction, in this information-rich world and ‘Informed Curiosity’ of the present generation, a multi-dimensional and holistic growth of the students is a must. She ensures that the annual functions and events are organised with great alacrity to make the students aesthetically and spiritually sound, and to shape them as confident, creative and courageous individuals for the future.
In recognition of her distinguished services and achievements in the field of education, she has been felicitated with innumerable awards – to name a few, the prestigious CBSE Teachers Award-2015, Inspiring Educators Award, Best Teacher Award 2014 by NESA, Amity Excellence Award, Appreciation Award by Rotary International.
As an educationist, with her innovation and visionary outlook, she endeavours to bring more productive transformations for the best possible future of the children.
